About Teacher’s Day
World Teachers’ Day is also known as International Teachers Day. It is held annually on October 5 since 1994. The celebration commemorates teacher organizations worldwide. Its aim is to mobilize support for teachers and to ensure that the needs of future generations will continue to be met by teachers.
Significance of Teacher’s Day
This day is important to the teachers as their students make them realize how valuable they are for them. Mainly, this day is important because in the whole year our teachers do not have any time to get closer to their students and have fun. Teachers are those important pillars of a student’s life without whom life’s journey would be a lot more difficult. Right from our childhood till our college days and even beyond, our teachers guide us as to how we should move towards our goal. They teach us how to read and write and most importantly they prepare us for the world that is not easy to handle. Like our parents, our teachers to help us prepare ourselves to face the outside world.
Flowers for Teachers Day
Though not mandatory, National Teachers’ Day is a nice occasion for students and parents to give a gift or token of their appreciation to their favourite teacher. Flowers are a universally appreciated gift. Who doesn’t like getting a fresh, spring bouquet or even a single, well-chosen bloom? If you’re considering giving fresh flowers this year for National Teachers’ Day, below are a few blossoms you’ll want to consider: Daisies, spring bulbs and Carnations which are a timeless and affordable flower choice.
Teachers inspire us to dream and encourage us to strive hard to achieve our goals and all of this without a selfish motive. Certainly, there can be no better profession than this which educates, informs, prepares, inspires, encourages and at the same time also teaches us to inculcate a way of life that is for our betterment!
We salute all the teachers who give their time and energy to make our lives a little more beautiful, a little more meaningful.
